Waking up after 2 hours sleep was damn well worth it for the Ryder Cup 2010 finals. The USA was down by 3 booming into the last day of 12 characteristic matches in the Ryder Cup.
This would be the second largest comeback in Ryder Cup history, to the 1999 USA triumph when Justin Leonard drained that 45-footer pro the win.
On this day in Europe, it was not meant to be for the Americans. The Europeans gave up a lot that final day, but they weren’t going to allow the Allied States to keep the Ryder Cup trophy for two more years.

This European team’s captain Colin Montgomerie is the key to this win. He is Mr. Ryder Cup, and has never lost a singles tourney here. He knows what it takes to win in this tournament.
Corey Pavin is a really nice guy, but his attitude of “they’re professionals they know what to do” when asked what he would do to assembly the team is unprejudiced not bloodthirsty enough for this shark-fest.
The USA unite has to be complimented on their gumption. The Europeans went 6-0 in wins in the afternoon matches Sunday. The team had some unbelievable playing and desire in these final matches for a team that seemed to have no vive to win Ryder Cup 2010.
Tiger Woods of old came back from 2 down after 5 and went on a devil like we remember going birdie-birdie-birdie-eagle-birdie from holes 9-13. He closed out identical of the Molinari brothers 4 up with 3 holes left (4&3).
Phil Mickelson even won his settled match scoring his only aim in this year’s Ryder Cup 2010. He shot lights out from the first tee going 4 up after 4 and closing out Peter Hanson 4&4. Too Inconsiderable, Too Late.
That PGA rookie Rickie Fowler rocked in the alternative to last society winning the last 3 holes to get a much needed half point. This made it tenable for Hunter Mahan to only need a tie instead of a win fitting for the USA to keep the Ryder Cup at home.
Mahan was 1 down on the 16th hole when Rookie Rickie finished. Unfortunately, Graeme McDowell birdied the 16th hole, and went into the 17th hole needing to win the final 2 holes to tie the match and for the USA to win.
On the Bad 3 17th shack, McDowell build it on the right fringe, and Hunter left his ball short of the rural. Mahan choked and chunked his chip basically giving McDowell and the Europeans the bout and Ryder Cup 2010 win.
I can’t blame too much on Huntsman Mahan. That was extreme pressure on that last hole, but that’s why the Captain put him there. He thought he could cope with anything and would close hard.
If Phil would’ve shown up earlier and Furyk would’ve stayed home, that would enjoy been enough for the win.
It was a great match to watch, but as an American it left something lacking. That would be a Ryder Cup 2010 United States win.
