He is the golf betting favorite to save this week’s Deutsche Bank Championship, at +500. Defending prizewinner Steve Stricker is the next contender on the list, at +1000. This week we have something completely different representing your reading pleasure.

It’s a Tiger Woods story.

This is a guy who not however needs to have more finishes like model week 12th-place tie in order to resurrect his previous level of confidence, he’s also a guy who needs the bucks. Woods, who has been posted as a +500 favorite this week in the golf betting odds, has enchanted out a mortgage of $54 million on his estate in Florida, and he has to pay it back in the main January of 2016. He has gone through what is reportedly a $100 million split-up escape a surmount with Elin Nordegren, who was the subject of a People magazine story that came out this week. I’m not sure this is what golf fans had in intellect when they said Tiger puissance transcend the diversion as he rose to stardom in the unpunctually 1990′s.

But hey – maybe Woods should get divorced every week (he may have the "human resources" to do just that). He shot 73 and 72 on Friday and Saturday, respectively, but bookended that with rounds of 65 on Thursday and 67 on Sunday, and that brought him to his best finish since a fourth-place splice at the U.S. Yield at Pebble Beach.

It came just in time, because Woods was starting to worry some of the golf bettors who revival like him. He came into The Barclays in hazard of being ousted from the FedEx Cup playoffs, and at this point he has elevated himself to 65th place. It is projected that he will have to at least tie for 54th place this week to collect enough points to resume in the playoffs, although that number is not definite.
