pp. 8 – Indian Winter – - 7/2 fair betting odds
J P’s Bravery might navy off at around 8/5 or imperturbable 3/2 in this race inflating every other horses price. Although Indian Winter is an overlay horse racing bet at 7/2, I’m hoping that I can get closer to 5/1 or 6/1 on him. Indian Winter broke his maiden at the special persuasiveness $50,000 status in brilliant the go in his last when tracking and then taking over in the stretch. Bought benefit of $125,000, the Jerry Hollendorfer trainee is obviously meant to away a lot of graded stakes races during his career. Dialect mayhap, he starts winning those graded races this Wednesday. Improvement is expected, jockey Rafael Bejarano sticks with him, and Indian Winter has been training well since his maiden score.
pp. 7-Western Mood – - 9/2 fair betting odds
Western Mood is yet another Hollendorfer trainee that shows up in the Sort I Del Mar Futurity. Although J P’s Gusto blow rhythm Western Mood by 4 lengths in the Grade II Best Pal the last time the two faced each other, Western Attitude has every right to turn the tables on his rival because jockey Joel Rosario is going to stomach him off of the pace in this race and then unleash his belatedly kick. Rosario failed to employ those tactics in the Upper crust Pal and that, more than anything, led to Western Mood’s loss. He figures to be much tougher on Wednesday.
pp. 1 – Jaycito – - 5/1 fair betting odds
Front-running Jaycito could either get the jump on J P’s Gusto out of the gate or track that joined until the top of the stretch. Either way, the Mike Mitchell trainee figures to put his best feet bold in this. Jaycito lost by sole a half a length to Indian Winter in his first lifetime race. Jumping from a 2nd place in a maiden to a Grade I may seem impossible to do but there are a lot of things to like about Jaycito. Not only did Jaycito show great hightail it in his debut, but trainer Mike Mitchell wins with 34% of his second-time starters and jockey Martin Garcia is brilliant at getting front-runners to relax on the assume command of. Jaycito should be very stiff to pass in the Grade I Del Mar Futurity on Wednesday.
Horse Wagering Design
I’m going to bet on Indian Winter to carry off and place. I commitment bet an exacta with Indian Winter over Western Mood, Jaycito and likely chalk J P’s Gusto.
I will reverse the exacta for less. I will bet a trifecta with Indian Winter, Western Mood, Jaycito, with Indian Winter, Western Sympathetic, Jaycito, J P’s Gusto with Indian Winter, Western Mood, Jaycito J P’s Gusto, Riveting Reason, Just, Imagine, and Road Expectant.
Out of the ordinary luck!
