Jeff Gordon comes into the Chase having not won a race all year in the Sprint Cup series. Gordon, who is a four-time champion of the series, won three times at New Hampshire, but the last one was backside in 1998. Not that he has been a non-contender; in fact, he has finished second at the track five times since then. In the race earlier in the year, he finished fourth, after qualifying 16th. Gordon has actually been very moving when it comes to his qualifying efforts in Loudon. He has won the pole there five times, and has started in the top three on seven other occasions. Manner, one detestation NASCAR bettors may want to note is that he has started better than tenth just once in his last six appearances in Loudon.

As for his performance this year, Gordon has had nine top-ten starts, but his efforts in qualifying has been weak of late, as he has started 16th, 36th, 26th, 18th and 22nd in the terminating five races, and that has had its residual effect, as he could not eat higher than tenth in those races. Currently Gordon is positioned eighth among the 12 drivers who have qualified for the Chase, and he is priced at +1200 to win the Sprint Cup in the latest NASCAR betting odds.

Denny Hamlin has more wins than anybody else on the Sprint Cup circuit this season, having infatuated six checkered flags. Thus, he is the highest "seed," if you will, in the Chase, with 5060 points, ten points vanguard of Jimmie Johnson. Hamlin put some icing on the cake at the Similar to Guard 400 last week, romping home to victory despite starting only 14th. At Atlanta the race before, he had won the pole, but he had engine problems and came 43rd. Hamlin did not have a top-ten qualifying effort in any of his triumph ten races, but has been in the cover ten seven times since. Hamlin is currently +450 in the NASCAR betting odds to win the Sprint Cup, which makes him the third favorite behind Johnson and Kevin Harvick.

At New Hampshire, Hamlin has raced nine times. He’s had four top tens in his terminating six races there, including a winning creation in the summer race in 2007. His best qualifying arrange in Loudon as follows far has been 4th, which was achieved a year ago, when he finished as the runner-up.
