College Football Betting Odds:

Texas A&M +3
Oklahoma State: -3
Total Points: 66 ½

: While Texas A&M comes in with arguably the best quarterback in the Big XII, it is Oklahoma State’s glancing by the way attack which is No. 2 in the mountains. They’ll look to take battering on a questionable Aggies defense Thursday.

The man behind leading the storm is quarterback Brandon Weeden, who through three games has put up video feign like numbers. The 26-year-old toiled as two years behind Zac Robinson sooner than finally getting his chance this year, and he’s making the most of it, as he’s thrown for 975 yards and 11 touchdowns, while only being intercepted twice.

However, don’t think the Cowboys are strictly a fervour attack, as they’ve still got one of the best match backs in the sport, Kendall Hunter. Hunter is a former 1,000 yard rusher that was atypical stand up year, but has bounced back in a big headway in 2010. Past three games, he’s got 473 yards on the ground, including a 257 yard outburst against Washington State in the opener. While his position has diminished slightly of late, Hunter can turn a short play into a touchdown at the drop of a hat.

Meanwhile, the Texas A&M Aggies enter this weekend’s college football betting doing just admirable themselves, averaging 41 points a game, including putting up 48 in back-to-back games to open the year. However, they were sloppy in their most recent game, and needed 21 fourth quarter points to gain on a pesky Florida International team.

If they’re going to get the win in this Thursday’s Big, XII showdown quarterback Jerrod Johnson is going to have to flash some of the skill that made him a preseason all conference candidate. Auspices of three games Johnson has been good (he’s got 865 yards in those games), but is still too mistake prone, as his four interceptions against the Panthers showed.

But after everything the senior Johnson has done these past few years, we’re going to give him a pass for after weekend. Perhaps he was looking ahead, who knows. But notwithstanding, the Aggies are the pick to make in this weekend’s college football betting.

Simply put, Texas A&M isn’t nearly as bad as they looked against Florida International, especially their quarterback who completed only 11 of 31 passes. Expect him to caper retaliation.

More importantly this is a season turning, and program changing game for the Aggies. With both Texas and Oklahoma struggling early on, they truly believe they’ve got the goods to win the South Division this year. That will be virtually impossible if they lose Thursday’s game.

That won’t happen though. Look for them to put their foregoing jitters behind them and come dated in a big way Thursday night. Weeden hasn’t seen a crew of this bent, and he’ll struggle.

Take Texas A&M in the college football betting on Thursday.

The Pick: Texas A&M +3
