As 1 ½ point NCAAF betting underdogs, the Boise State Broncos proved how adept they really were this past Monday continually.

The Broncos, ranked #3 in the AP Poll and #5 in the Coach’s Poll, looked dead in the the highest with only 2 minutes to go. #6 (Coach’s Tally #10 (AP Poll) Virginia Tech had upright scored 3 points on a grassland objective and was up 30 to 26. Boise State, who had jumped obsolete to a 17 to 0 be, hadn’t done much offensively in the second half after scoring on a long touchdown run.

It appeared that the Broncos quest to solidify their status as a rig capable of winning the 2010 BCS Championship would end peacefully on FedEx Field in Washington D. C. in what amounted to a home game versus the VA Tech Hokies, but quarterback Kellen Moore would have none of that. Moore employed his impeccable decision-making skills and pinpoint passes to high-pressure the Broncos to a game-winning touchdown.

Yes, Boise State was aided by a out-dated interference call against the Hokies. Yes, the Hokies did receive the ball with unkindly a minute left and could possess scored again. So, yes, I suppose the drive wasn’t perfect, but it was privy to being John Elway-ish and in college football, being close to John Elway-ish is again times good enough.

After being outscored 27 to 9 in the 2 nd and 3 rd quarters, the Broncos outscored the Hokies 7 to 3 in the 4 th. It was matchless enough since the victory and it should impel the Broncos forward in the Coach’s Receive.

I’ve put Boise State third in my personal Top 10. My Top 10 is based on NCAAF betting against the spread. That’s something different than what you’re going to find in either the AP Poll or the Coach’s Tally. Also, I no more than use Top 25 ranked teams for my Top 10 because those are the teams playing in games that most sports gamblers are interested in betting.

NCAAF Top 10 ATS

  1. Oregon Ducks 1-0 (1-0 ATS) – - They covered a 36 ½ point spread by 35 ½ points when beating New Mexico 72 to 0.
  2. Ohio State Buckeyes 1-0 (1-0 ATS) – - As 28 point faves, the Bucks racked Marshall 48 to 7. They were up 38 to 7 at half outdated.
  3. Boise Imperial Broncos 1-0 (1-0 ATS) – - They could turn into an NCAAF betting juggernaut. The 33 to 30 victory past the Hokies was good enough for a +4 ½ cover. Now, they face horrible teams that they should rout easily.
  4. Alabama Crimson Tide 1-0 (1-0 ATS) – - They only covered by 6 ½ but coach Saban called off the dogs after they jumped out to a 31 to 3 lead remaining San Jose State after the first half of a 48 to 7 victory.
  5. Georgia Bulldogs 1-0 (1-0 ATS) – - Remember Georgia this year, sports betting fans. The defense looked great in their 55 to 7 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette. Yes, they were playing against a link up they were supposed to beat, but the spread was only 28 ½ points meaning that the Bulldogs covered by +19 ½ ATS.
  6. North Carolina Tar Heels 0-1 (1-0 ATS) – - After being down 30 to 10 at halftime, the Heels outscored LSU 14 to 0 in the second half and ended up covering the spread by 1 ½ points. That’s not a a quantity, but it does be noticeable that the Heels sooner a be wearing guts and might still be a force in the ACC this year…at least against the spread.
  7. Oregon – State Beavers 01 (1-0 ATS) – - Oregon State actually had a chance to beat TCU straight up. Instead, they had to settle for being NCAAF betting spread victors by losing 30 to 21 as 13 ½ point dogs.
  8. Utah Utes 1-0 (0-0-1 ATS) – - They were favored generally 3 points and beat the higher ranked Pittsburgh Panthers 27 to 24. Sure, it was only a push, but a get is improve than a loss, right? Also, the Utes just needed to prevent that land goal in the closing minute from Pitt in order to cover the spread last Thursday.
  9. Nebraska Cornhuskers 1-0 (0-0-1 ATS) – - They beat Western Kentucky 49 to 10 as 39 point faves. A push is better than a loss and the truth is that the Huskers in all probability could have covered the spread since WK scored those 7 points in the 4 th quarter when the game was well in hand.
  10. Miami Hurricanes 1-0 (0-0-0 ATS) – - Sure, the NCAAF betting odds makers didn’t appoint a line for their game against Florida A&M but, hey, they didn’t let Florida A&M return on the board, outscoring that team 45 to 0. That’s better than what Iowa, Florida State Penn State, Georgia Tech and Arkansas did in their non-point, spread games last week.

Go after it by betting 20-game football parlays and 9 ½ point football teasers in the sportsbook!
