The Oregon Ducks, Ohio State Buckeyes and Alabama Crimson Tide continue to roll from one end to the other the NCAAF beating with ease both straight-up and against the spread.
Stale of the three teams, the Ducks are doubtlessly the most impressive. They manhandled the Tennessee Volunteers in Tennessee, never an easy task, 48 to 13 as less than 2 touchdown favorites. The Ducks’ offense is one of the best I’ve ever seen in college football (so far! ) and I’m curious to see how it will fair against some decent defensive teams in the Pac-10 Stanford and Arizona.
Speaking of Arizona has there been a more impressive “under the radar, team” NCAAF team betting-wise so far this season? The ‘Cats have been incredible in two victories over Toledo and the Citadel. Granted, those aren’t the two toughest teams opponents imaginable, but, hey, the ‘Cats are endearing impressively, very impressively, and are undeniably one of the Top 3 teams in the Pac-10 along with Stanford and Oregon.

Let’s get to my NCAAAF Top ATS.
NCAAF Top 10 ATS
- Oregon Ducks 2-0 (2-0 ATS) – - They walked into a hostile conditions and blitzed, unreservedly blitzed, the Tennessee Volunteers 48 to 13 as 10 ½ point favorites. This team is not only the best team against the spread in the country so far, but they’re the best team in the country. They’re the NCAAF interpretation of the Inexperienced Orleans Saints.
- Ohio State Buckeyes 2-0 (2-0 ATS) – - Some might argue that I should put Alabama in this spot but Ohio Body politic beat a theoretically better team in the Miami Hurricanes that started a way more seasoned quarterback than the Crimson Tide played against this days of yore Saturday. The Buckeyes have been impressive so far this season. Covering an 8-point spread against Miami by +4 in the 36 to 24 speaks to their complete ability.
- Alabama Crimson Tide 2-0 (2-0 ATS) – - The 24 to 3 conquest over Penn Submit was nice, but most NCAAF betting fans felt that the Nittany Lions were overrated going into the competition. Even so, the defense looks solid and the offense is very good. We’ll see how well the Tide does in SEC play after they beat the living snot out of Duke this coming Saturday.
- South Carolina Gamecocks 2-0 (2-0 ATS) – - I wasn’t a believer but I am now. Their defense is wonderful solid and that could carry them a long way in the SEC this spice. The Gamecocks turned what is usually a high-scoring affair against Georgia into a defensive struggle in their 17 to 6 victory. For that, they get into the Top 5.
- Arizona Wildcats 2-0 (2-0 ATS) – - Cal in the Pac-10 is undefeated straight-up and ATS as right, but the ‘Cats are ranked in both the AP Poll and the Coaches’ Get. They get to d get to my nod after obliterating the Citadel 52 to 6 as 43-point favorites. They took provide for of Toledo 41 to 2 as 14 ½ point favorites meaning that ‘Zona has outscored their opponents 93 to 8 so far in 2 games.
- Boise State Broncos 1-0 (1-0 ATS) – - The Broncos didn’t collapse in the polls during their bye week but VA Tech’s stunning demise to James Madison certainly doesn’t improve Boise State in their exploration to choose to the BCS Championship Game. The Broncos will need to be very, very impressive against Wyoming this weekend, covering the 23 spur spread by more than 10 in my slough off, in pronouncement to grab the pollsters and keep their Top 5 rankings.
- Utah Utes 2-0 (1-0-1 ATS) – - They followed up their 3-point egg on versus Pittsburgh with a +8 counterpane as -20 favorites against UNLV in a 38 to 10 victory. Utah could live into a sneaky goodness team to see in NCAAF betting this season because odds makers might not be paying enough attention to them anyway.
- Oklahoma Sooners 2-0 (1-10 ATS) – - As 34-point favorites versus Utah State in their blue ribbon game, the Sooners failed to cover by – 27 points. Manservant, what a week makes! As only 7-point faves over the supposedly much improved Florida State Seminoles, Oklahoma destroyed FSU 47 to 17. Wow.
- Iowa Hawkeyes 2-0 (1-1-0 ATS) – - What’s funny is how the betting line in their game against the Iowa State Cyclones this past Saturday went from Hawkeyes -13 ½ to Hawkeyes -12 by kick-off. The money kept flowing in on Iowa State even though there wasn’t any reason for it. I suppose “following the money” isn’t necessarily evermore the best strategy when betting on college football games. The Hawkeyes beat their inter-state rivals 35 to 7.
- LSU Tigers 2-0 (1-1-0 ATS) – - Before anybody starts getting upset about LSU making the Finish 10, let’s think about this for a moment. They were favored by only 7 ½ to beat North Carolina in their elementary game and won by 6 points. That’s only a 1 ½ exhibit margin. Then, this past Saturday, they waxed Vanderbilt 27 to 3 as 10 ½ point favorites. So, I’d say they’re doing okay. This week they play a decent Mississippi State platoon at home as 8 ½ item faves. We shall see how they do in NCAAF betting in their first SEC matchup.
