Memphis (1-2) needed tons of turnover help last week as they were the recipient of four Middle Tennessee State turnovers to win 24-17 as a near touchdown underdog. Memphis had just 287 yards offense in their deceiving win, but should have more lowering success against a UTEP team that lacks depth and discipline.
UTEP (2-1) has taken early take in this controversy, but both teams are struggling in the early universal with downgraded power ratings. Coach Mike Price has guided UTEP to a 24-14 college football pick record at home in his 8 th condition in El Paso, but the Miners defense is a disaster space with just five returning starters and allowing at least 33 points per target dissemble the times gone by three seasons. With a new coaching stick, scheme changes and 25 lettermen lost this season, Memphis is tough to aid until they develop more continuity. Combined with freshman quarterback Ryan Williams making just his alternative start and first on the road, and you can see why we’re struggling to support Memphis as a college football pick despite some marked point spread technical notes against UTEP.
NCAA Insider Tip: Both teams should be able to move the ball on poor defenses making the sum total look more attractive.
