Sunday Night Football is going to be a very queer disagreement this weekend as the Broncos host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Denver Broncos can’t seem to get back at any damn luck this summer. Injuries to four of their five tailbacks, defensive stud Elvis “Mayor” Dumervil and the vaunted Tim Tebow have formerly larboard this collaborate scrambling for answers. Where are your Jesus Powers now, Tebow?
Even with the hugely touted Tebow out of action for now, Josh McDaniels has tipped his cap and revealed that Kyle Orton is likely growing to be the starting quarterback this season.

Orton recently signed a $9 million stretching for lone year and proved his worth in a preseason clash with the Lions, completing 16-for-22 passes championing 177 yards and 2 touchdowns, while being picked off at the same time.
Orton was part of the mega trade that exiled Jay Cutler from the House of McDaniels, and stunned people when he led the Broncos to a 6-0 SU record to open the season. Then they went 2-6 SU the rest of the way, and missed the playoffs.
Still, Orton’s season was pretty miraculous all things considered. He posted 3,802 yards and 21 touchdowns, along with 12 picks, while posting an 86.8 quarterback rating after being considered a joke in Chicago.
His familiarity with the Broncos’ offense should at least advance a little hope in Mile High as they take their own field as underdogs in Sunday Evensong Football betting odds.
Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0) vs. Denver Broncos (0-2)
Sunday, August 29th — INVESCO Fanatic — 8:00pm EST
Sunday Night Football Odds: Pittsburgh -2.5 (35.5)
While the Broncos betting backers may be reluctant to support Orton as their starting quarterback, at least they have one. The Pittsburgh Steelers are peaceful trying to figure out if Dennis Dixon or Byron Leftwhich will assume the starting role subservient to center this coming available as Big Ben serves his delaying of either four or six games.
Leftwhich is far more relaxed with the offense, but Dixon is getting more reps with the first team on Sunday Night Football because he deserves the shot. A third year player out of Oregon, Dixon has never had the chance to strut his stuff for the Pittsburgh betting faithful in his career.
The crafty Dixon is a fabulous athlete with a decent arm and strong competition skills. Agasint the Inexperienced York Giants in Week 2 of the preseason, Dixon went 7-for-8 with 82 passing yards. He also added 27 rushing yards on 5 carries but was held out of the endzone and the oddsmakers aren’t taking any chances on underestimating him.
I’ve been a fan of Dixon since he won me a ton of money as the starting quarterback for the Ducks in college football, and I think that his skill set translates to what the Steelers do well.
He’s a scrambler by nature, and with a shot at the big time in Sunday Night Football odds, I firmly believe that he’ll take the Steelers in a disposal to win. After that, the veteran Leftwhich can maintain the lead as the Broncos extract their heads when Brady Quinn takes them in to the gutter the rest of the point.
