Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0 SU, 2-0 ATS, 1-1 O/U)

The Steelers have managed to carry off both of their preseason contests this season, beating the Detroit Lions 23-7 in its opener before taking out the New York Giants 24-17 on Saturday, but still have some questions that need to be answered – like who’s going to start in condition of Ben Roethlisberger while he sits out a minimum fur-game suspension for his ridiculous off-field behavior this offseason.

Veteran signal-caller Byron Leftwich (9-of-16 passing, 138 yards, 1 TD) has been outplayed by talented third-year pro and late Heisman Trophy candidate, Dennis Dixon(13-of-15, 210 yards, 1 TD, 58 rushing yards) all preseason and now, no one knows who head instruct Mike Tomlin commitment start when the regular seasoned opener rolls around in close to two weeks.

Roethlisberger pleasure start in this contest just as he did in Pittsburgh’s last preseason championship, but Dixon is expected to see some schedule with the first team and could potentially be inserted as the starter if he plays incredibly in this matchup.

The Steelers are ninth in points scored this preseason (23.5 ppg) and third in points allowed (12.0 ppg). Starting cornerback Bryant McFadden will likely sit out this contest with a pectoral injury and safety Ryan Clark will be held out as a precaution against his sickle cell fettle.

Denver Broncos (0-2 SU, 0-2 ATS, 2-0 O/U)

The Broncos haven’t lookedvery impressive at all this preseason, losing both times out as they fell to the Cincinnati Bengals 33-24 in its opener before losing to the Detroit Lions 25-20 on Saturday.

The Broncos beget had to deal with a slew of injuries to key players this preseason and will be without talented rookie wide receiver Demaryius Thomas and explosive linebacker Elvis Dumervil while starting running undeveloped Knowshon Moreno and reserve quarterback Tim Tebow are probable.

For all that, Denver has one of the most meticulous quarterbacks in the league in experienced Kyle Orton and the former Chicago Bears starter has completed 24-of-35 passes for 261 yards with four touchdowns and just one interception.

The Broncos are averaging 22.0 points per racket this preseason (12th) but are allowing 29.0 points per game defensively (30th).
